About the Campbell Fellowship for Women Scholar-Practitioners from Developing Countries
This Vera R. Campbell Foundation is a grant-making foundation. Fellowship is open to women postdoctoral social scientists in developing countries whose research is focused on women’s economic and social empowerment in the country. The purpose of this program is twofold. to promote the careers of women who study social sciences who are from developing nations as well as to encourage research that uncovers the reasons for gender inequality within the developing world and proposes practical solutions to promoting female economic as well as social advancement.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria for Women Scholar-Practitioners from Developing Countries
The applicants must be citizens of countries in the developing world who are in a position to take loans through the World Bank.
To be able to fully engage for full participation SAR knowledge community candidates must demonstrate their proficiency in English for example, through their professional interactions both in written and spoken English.

Available Subjects
The applicants must be conducting study in any of the following social sciences, such as economics, anthropology, education history, geography as well as law, political science, linguistics social work, psychology, and sociology. Or an interdisciplinary field that combines at least two disciplines.

Value of Scholarship
