About the EDSF Scholarship

The Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation – EDSF scholarship program was established in 1999 in order to honor and help the new generation of professionals working in document Management as well as Graphic Communication industry. EDSF scholarships are granted to students who are full-time and committed to pursuing careers working in the field of Document Management as well as Graphic Communications marketplace.

Available Subjects for the EDSF Scholarship Awards in Document Management and Graphic Communications

The options for careers are diverse and encompass the following, but not limited in, Computer Science & Engineering (for instance: Webmaster/Designer software development, database management applications engineer, materials engineer, chief technology officer) in addition to Graphic & Media Communications (for example: graphic designer illustrators, art directors Color scientist, printing production documents preparation specialist distribution and/or production Content Management, E-Commerce imaging science and printing, Web authoring electronic publishing and security, and archiving) as well as those who are who are interested with Business (sales and marketing which includes trade shows customer service, or product development/management).

Eligibility Requirements for the EDSF Scholarship Awards in Document Management and Graphic Communications

To be eligible to receive an EDSF award, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A desire to pursue career opportunities in the document Management or Graphic Communication industry
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA cumulative on an 4.0 scale
  • Full-time student enrolled in an accredited university or college any where around the globe as of the fall semester of 2017.
  • International students are eligible to apply.

Selection Criteria

They are awarded based on the following criteria: academic performance, the application essay and participation in school activities such as volunteer work, honours, organizational affiliations, educational objectives, and professional and academic recommendations. Based on the specific criteria set by the sponsor additional elements could be considered, including geographical location, college preference, organization, and presentation.
